Karen Ortis

Karen Ortis, DVM

Karen was born in New Orleans and lived in Houston for 7 years before moving to Baton Rouge to attend Louisiana State University.  It was during her time at LSU that she met Dr. Ortis, and they moved to Missouri to join Equine Medical in 2004.  She joined EMS as the business manager in 2019.  She enjoys volunteering at her children’s school, reading, and spending time in the outdoors with her family.
